4) Entry limits
- The contest has limited slots because there is one ETERNA 55 camera package rotating between teams.
- Entry does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are vetted (see Section 6).
5) Film requirements (what you must make)
Your film must meet all requirements below:
A) Camera requirement
- Your film must be shot using the Fujifilm ETERNA 55 provided by Desert Frames (primary camera).
-
Additional cameras may be allowed only for clearly defined needs (e.g., drone, specialty shots)
B) Sensor/aspect guidance
- You must shoot in a way that uses the ETERNA sensor (4:3 capture encouraged/required at capture).
- Delivery aspect ratio is your choice (you may deliver 4:3 or crop/finish in another aspect ratio).
C) Runtime
- Final film must be 5 to 12 minutes, including credits.
D) Genre
- Any genre is allowed.
-
Note: some partners may not share certain genres (e.g., extreme horror). This does not automatically disqualify you,
but it may affect partner promotion.
E) Original work
- Your submission must be created specifically for this contest period.
- You must have rights to all music, footage, fonts, and assets used.
6) Application + selection process (how you get in)
To apply, you must submit:

- Professionalism / reliability
- Ability to execute within the time window
- Alignment with contest values (community-first, respectful collaboration)
Organizers may deny an application at their sole discretion.

B) Insurance
You must provide proof of insurance / COI or work with an insured professional who can cover the production
(organizers may offer a solution case-by-case).

- Entry fee covers the rental for the camera kit ($500+ value), and no further rental charges will be assessed when the camera kit is returned on time and in proper condition (subject to inspection).
- Late returns, damage, missing items, or agreement violations may result in partial or full forfeiture.
8) Camera scheduling rules
- Shoots are scheduled via selection of a 3-day rental window (pickup after 12pm, return before 12pm 3 days later).
- After team selection, all teams will receive an email with a link to select their rental/shoot window. Rental windows are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- You must pick up and return the kit at agreed times.
- Late returns may impact other teams and can result in disqualification.
